Established in 1987 in Durham, Dominick Huckabee Noblin & Trent (DHN&T) has enjoyed a steady growth over these many years and has become recognized as one of the leading insurance agencies in our area. We have earned our reputation for professionalism due to the special attention given to the needs, requirements, and details of our clients.

John Dominick, Jim Huckabee, Buck Noblin and Bertha Gentry formed Dominick Huckabee Noblin Insurance Agency, Inc. in April 1987. In June of 1989, Tom Trent joined the agency and the agency began doing business as: Dominick Huckabee Noblin & Trent Insurance Agency. Jerry Teague joined the agency in December of 1989 and in July of 1999, DHN&T acquired Booth Insurance Agency which brought Steve Booth and Becky Hill to our staff.

Today, Dominick Huckabee Noblin & Trent serves the insurance needs of almost 3000 individual and business concerns in Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh and the surrounding area. We have transitioned from a startup operation in 1987 to a successful, paperless, multiple-line independent agency today. Our agency proudly represents the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina and the Trusted Choice Independent Agency brand.
